Everything you need to know about our fantasy CS2 platform
FragDraft is a fantasy esports platform for CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) tournaments. Create fantasy drafts by selecting players from real tournaments, compete against other users, earn XP, unlock achievements, and climb the leaderboard.
We currently support CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) tournaments across the calendar, including tier 1 and tier 2 professional events, not only the Majors. Check the Tournaments page to see all currently running and upcoming tournaments.
Yes! Creating an account, joining tournaments, and creating fantasy drafts is completely free. Earn XP, unlock achievements, and compete for titles on the leaderboard. You can also see how FragDraft compares to other CS2 fantasy games.
You can browse tournaments and view player stats without an account. However, to create fantasy drafts and compete on the leaderboard, you need to create a free account.
Yes. Leagues let you compete in your own standings on top of the global leaderboard, and they are free.
Private league: invite-only. You create it and share an invite link or invite friends by username, so only people you invite can join, ideal for a group of friends.
Public league: open to everyone. Anyone can find it under the Discover tab and join.
You can create a league in a minute and be in more than one at a time.
A clan war is a contest between two leagues. One league challenges another over a chosen battleground: a single tournament, a whole event, or a season.
Each side's recently-active members play as normal, and the side with the higher average score wins. Wars are separate from a league's own standings and never fold into them.
Wars between two public leagues are publicly watchable on the clan wars page.
Click the "Sign Up" button in the navigation bar, enter your email and choose a password. You'll receive a verification email to confirm your account. Once verified, you're ready to start drafting!
If you rank 1st or 2nd on the monthly referral leaderboard, you may be eligible for a special reward. To receive it, go to "Profile & Settings" and paste your Steam Trade URL. You can find your trade URL on the Steam website under Inventory → Trade Offers → Who can send me Trade Offers.
Optionally, you can also link your full Steam account; this shows your Steam profile and avatar on the leaderboards, but is not required for rewards.
Visit the "Tournaments" page from the main navigation. Live tournaments are displayed at the top with a "LIVE" badge, followed by upcoming tournaments. Click on any tournament to view details and create a draft.
Navigate to any tournament from the Tournaments page. On the tournament details page, you'll see a draft panel on the right side (or at the bottom on mobile). Select your players and submit your draft before the tournament starts.
Select a roster of CS2 players competing in a specific tournament. You have 25 energy to spend on players, each player has an energy cost based on their rating. As the tournament progresses, your players earn points based on their real in-game performance. Your total score is compared against other users.
Player scores are calculated based on a comprehensive formula that rewards both individual performance and match outcomes. Here is a detailed breakdown of the scoring rules:
- Kills: +2 points each
- Deaths: -1 point each
- Assists: +1 point each
- Headshots: +0.5 points each
- FK Diff: +2 points per net opening duel won
- Flash Assists: +0.5 points each
- Maps Won by Favorite Team: +10 points per map
- Game/Map Won: +5 points each
- Match Won (Bo3/Bo5): +10 points bonus
Note on Performance Metrics: HLTV rating, ADR (Average Damage per Round), and KAST% award small base bonus points, rewarding smart picks (e.g. choosing a high-ADR player earns a few extra points). These metrics can also trigger conditional boosters if you have them: for example, a "Rating Prodigy" booster applies a small multiplier if your player's rating exceeds 1.1. Boosters are a minor amplifier, good player picks and accurate predictions are what drive your score.
The favorite team feature allows you to select a team competing in the tournament. When your favorite team wins maps during the tournament, you earn bonus points on top of your drafted players' scores.
- You earn +10 bonus points for each map your favorite team wins
- The team can be from any organization competing in the tournament
- You can select your favorite team before the tournament starts
- The bonus applies across your entire draft - it benefits all your players equally
If your favorite team wins 5 maps in a tournament, you earn +50 bonus points (5 maps × 10 points). This is added to your total draft score along with your players' individual scores.
Your favorite team and the total bonus points earned from map wins are displayed on the leaderboard and in the detailed score breakdown, so you can see exactly how much your team selection contributed to your final score.
You can edit your draft at any time before the tournament begins. Once the tournament starts, your draft is locked and cannot be changed.
Drafts automatically lock when the tournament begins. The exact start time is displayed on each tournament page. We recommend submitting your draft early to avoid missing the deadline.
Each draft consists of 5 players, the same as a CS2 competitive team. Choose your roster by analysing player stats, recent performance, and team matchups.
Boosters are special modifiers you can apply to your drafted players to increase their fantasy points. They come in four rarity tiers (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary) with varying power levels and energy costs.
- Apply boosters to individual players in your draft before the tournament starts
- Each booster has an energy cost, you have a separate 10 booster energy budget (distinct from the 25 player drafting energy)
- Boosters multiply specific stats (kills, assists, headshots, weapon-specific bonuses, etc.)
- Higher rarity boosters provide bigger multipliers but cost more energy
- Conditional boosters trigger only when certain performance thresholds are met (e.g., "High Impact" booster applies +7% if ADR > 70)
- Strategic deployment is key - apply boosters to players likely to meet the conditions!
- Craft boosters using shards you earn by playing
- Purchase booster packs from the Store with shards (Starter, Epic, Elite packs)
Shards are a currency you earn just by playing. Collect enough shards and you can craft boosters of a specific rarity so there's no luck involved, you pick exactly what you want.
- Top 3 finish: +10 shards
- Top 10 finish: +5 shards
- Participation (11th+): +3 shards
- Daily login: +3 shards every day you log in
- Achievements: +2 to +75 shards each, depending on rarity
- Referral milestones: Earn shards when your cumulative active referrals hit milestones (1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100)
- Referral monthly leaderboard: Every ranked finisher earns shards each month
- Clan wars: Win an event or season clan war and the winning side splits a shard pool, scaled by how much each member contributed. (Single-tournament wars pay a booster pack to the winners instead.)
Tournament shards are awarded automatically when a tournament ends and final standings are confirmed.
- Craft boosters of a specific rarity from the Inventory page
- Buy booster packs in the Store (Starter, Epic, Elite)
- Buy cosmetics in the Store: pets, avatar borders, and titles
More cosmetics, including profile backgrounds, are coming soon.
- Common booster: 5 shards
- Rare booster: 10 shards
- Epic booster: 20 shards
- Legendary booster: 40 shards
Visit the Inventory page to see your shard balance and the crafting progress bar. When you have enough shards for a tier, click the milestone button to craft a booster of that rarity instantly.
FragDraft has a referral program that rewards you for inviting friends. Share your unique referral link and earn shards, XP, and exclusive rewards when your friends join and play. Rewards come from two sources: milestone rewards (based on lifetime active referrals) and a monthly leaderboard (ranked by new activations each calendar month).
Go to your profile and open the Referrals tab. Your unique referral code (format: FD-XXXXXX) and a full shareable link (fragdraft.win/r/YOUR_CODE) are displayed there. Click Code or Link to copy to clipboard instantly.
A referred user starts as "pending" after signing up with your link. They become "active" once they complete their first tournament draft. Only active referrals count toward your milestone progress and the monthly leaderboard.
Milestone rewards are based on your all-time total active referrals and are claimed manually from your profile's Referrals tab.
- 1 active referral: 5 shards
- 3 active referrals: 15 shards
- 5 active referrals: 20 shards
- 10 active referrals: 50 shards
- 25 active referrals: 100 shards
- 50 active referrals: 150 shards
- 100 active referrals: 300 shards
Each milestone is claimable once. Go to your profile → Referrals tab and click Claim next to any unlocked milestone.
Every calendar month, users compete on the referral leaderboard based on new active referrals generated that month. The leaderboard resets on the 1st of each month.
- 1st place: CS2 skin + 2 shards
- 2nd place: CS2 skin + 2 shards
- 3rd place: Epic Pack + 2 shards
- 4th–10th: Starter Pack + 2 shards
- 11th–50th: 2 shards
- 51st+: 1 shard (if you referred at least 1 active user that month)
No. Referral codes must be used at sign-up, either by visiting the referral link before registering or by entering a code during registration. It is not possible to apply a referral code to an existing account.
No. Self-referrals and multi-accounting are strictly prohibited and constitute fraud under our Terms of Service. Accounts found to be abusing the referral system will be permanently banned and forfeit all rewards, including any referral rewards already earned.
Winners are determined by total fantasy points accumulated by their drafted players throughout the tournament. Final standings are calculated when the tournament ends.
